Antibes, France: Our travels in pictures

I would like to start the week by saying THANK YOU for all the wonderful supportive comments last week about my father’s passing. It both made me teary-eyed and so incredibly grateful to you my lovely followers, so thank you! :)

We are now back from our eventful trip to France. Time passed unfortunately far too quickly, and I didn’t get the chance to miss wet, cold Sweden. We visited the idyllic town of Antibes which is now my absolute FAVORITE place on the French Riviera.

We stayed right on the ocean at the sandy beach of Juan les Pins, a wonderfully quiet seaside resort. From there you can quickly get into the centre of Antibes, where all your French dreams can come true: A large macaron bakery, French carousel, world-class restaurants, quaint French buildings, and a gigantic market.

On our last day in Antibes it was 25C and I swam in the beautiful turquoise ocean. I could easily had stayed there all Winter.

Here is our trip in pictures, as words are too small :)

Isn’t she wonderful? This beautiful French mademoiselle in her hat sits at a café. She captures everything that is Antibes: pleasure, foot, sun, and wonderful picturesque shops and cafés :)

Basically, if you love everything French (like me), you HAVE to visit Antibes – the city where artists travel to, and where the ocean draws life, lust, and endless nights of parties, glamour, and laughter. The best way to get there is to fly to Nice and then take the train (just 20 mins) toward Cannes.

Au revoir Frankrike for this time.
