Team Inredningsvis will be taking a well-earned mini-break during Christmas. We’ve chosen to celebrate our Xmas with lots of gold and silver in the decor, as these colours are the most classy.
This is also my first Christmas without both of my parents, as my father passed away earlier this year. It feels strange of course, and Christmas will never be the same as they were in my idyllic childhood again among snow-covered pine forests in the countryside.
But you have to carry on and make Christmas your own. Put aside the shopping mania and look into your heart to discover what really means something to you. For me, it is celebrating with someone I love, and not being alone in the darkness. Even a simple thing like having my very own REAL Christmas tree this year can be a big thing :) The lovely, genuine pine smell permeates the apartment and makes my heart warm and safe.
We all have different interpretations of Christmas, and none of them are wrong. However you choose to celebrate Christ’s birth, we at Inredningsvis say want to wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)
