Nothing is so dear to the people in Sweden than to go camping in the summer. Both dear older couples and young families with children like to bring their caravan and the car on the vacation. Around Gothenburg where Miss Inredningsvis lives there are really lovely camping spots to suggest.

1. Liseberg Kärralund
Since Liseberg is Gothenburg’s signature and the most popular Gothenburg travel tips – we start with the most famous campsite at my favorite place Delsjön and Lisebergs byn there.
Liseberg Kärralund is a year-round open camp facility located in the middle of nature but still very close to the center of Gothenburg. Middle-of-town ie The Avenue, Liseberg and the Swedish Exhibition Centre is just eight minutes away and straight track with 5 tram. Adjacent Kärralund is according to me Bohusläns beautiful lake Delsjön with its nature reserve. At Delsjön there are jogging trails, hiking trails, Frisbee golf, and much, much more.
If you bring your own accommodation so provides Lisebergsbyn entire 147 pitches with electricity and TV-socket. For tent there are about 40 plots, but not go to pre-book and also 12 pieces of mobile home places, as well as a modern service.
Lisebergsbyn also offer accommodation in different types of homes or hostels. Or why not visit the Liseberg Inspired Bed & Breakfast and buffet breakfast included, of course.
2. Almön swimming and camping
No Gothenburg vacation tip without mentioning an island :)
On Almön swimming and camping are both rural idyll and city bustle in close proximity. Nature is just around the corner is, and it’s still close to both Uddevalla, Stenungsund and Gothenburg, with visits to Liseberg amusement park and shopping suggestions for outing tasks.
If you stay on the island can experience Tjörns rich cultural scene. Relax in the small, picturesque Skarhamn, visit Pilane burial ground or Nordic Watercolour Museum – or just enjoy the cliffs or at the beach next to the sea.
Guests at Almöns campsite you have access to three service stations, including shower and toilet and kitchen. There is also a good supermarket with the most important near the camping spot.

3. Lilleby Camping
Of all campsites in Gothenburg so Lilleby on Hisingen the cheapest it is namely a so-called. low family camping. The campsite is located by the sea in Torslanda belonging to the southernmost part of Bohuslän.
Only 250 m from the campsite, you will find one of Gothenburg’s most attractive beaches (Blue Flag!). The campsite is also beautifully cherished by forest and mountains. In the area there is a playground, climb up to an observation deck and around the campsite are beautiful trails and jogging tracks. Torslanda square is close and there are supermarkets mm.
Fishing
At the seaside resort is one of the Gothenburg better fishing spots. It is mainly the early spring fishing, which gives the best results.
4. Åsa Camping & Havsbad
Ok this is not super close to Gothenburg center cause this camp spot is in Kungsbacka, yet it has been chosen by guests to Gothenburg’s best camping so I must have it on this list:)
Åsa Camping & Havsbad is in Kungsbacka Municipality and in northern Halland. Halland’s beautiful a landscape where the north west coast cliffs goes over the southern west coast shallow sandy beaches.
Asa camping is a perfect place for all who want to stay close to everything – the beach, the calm, Gothenburg (pretty close) with Liseberg and the Avenue, Varberg, Kungsbacka, Ullared and wonderful Tjolöholm Castle.
Everything you need for a great vacation are about Asa camping, but most important are a very calming vacation spot :)
5. Lisebergs camping at Askim Strand
Liseberg is a famous camping site and it is Liseberg camping at Askim Strand. This is all families with children enjoy camping.
Here you can stay in the caravan, camper, tent or in their hostel room with its own kitchen. In only one quarter will be in town by car and on another five minutes you are at the Liseberg park’s entrance.
On Askim camp offers activities such as mini golf, playground and kid-friendly activity and there are also fine service building, sauna, laundry and convenience store. Hostel rooms have a private kitchen so that guests can prepare their own lunch or dinner. Common shower and toilet separately for hostel guests in close proximity to the hostel rooms.
Within walking distance you will find Askimsbadet – one of Gothenburg’s most popular family swimming areas. Would you rather swim from the rocks and docks – and maybe catch the occasional crab – you go out on the peninsula Marholmen.
NOTE: If you have children, Askims camping is THE BEST :)
