It’s wonderful to be a blogger, and to get the opportunity to write a guest post here at inredningsvis! I drown in Maria’s stunningly beautiful pictures. Right now Maria is sharing tips about how to shop at flea markets and get bargains on antiques over at my blog, Charmigt sa Charlie.
And I’d like to let you all know about a great place about an hour outside of New York where I’ve been living since 2005. I share pictures of my daily life on my blog. I use a Canon G12 to take pictures from off the beaten track.
Southern Connecticut is located at Long Island Sound. The ocean, beaches, and long warm Summers are things I enjoy a lot – as well as the close proximity to Manhattan.
I love finding small, personal shops here and there. The farmers markets, farms and varied countryside remind me a lot of Sweden – but at the same time not really.
The beautiful Autumn. It takes my breath away. It’s all starting soon: pumpkins, apples, tea, walks at the beach, drinks at some of Manhattans roof top bars – because it’s not that cold just yet.
This is what I want right now – to find something nice at an antique store or at a ‘book sale’.
And lovely afternoons – why not a tea party? :)
