Sometimes it’s just better to let the pictures speak for themselves. These images are from Sweden’s beautiful neighbour, Norway. “Yes, we love this country!” :) (Norway’s national anthem starts with that text – and it’s easy to see why!

I lived in northern Norway in 2006 – 2008 and worked as a teacher at a cultural school. The scenery was stunningly beautiful and I experienced the people as open and welcoming. Norway has, in other words, a lot in common with my home country of New Zealand. It was however a little cold in the part of the country where I was living, a long way north of the arctic circle. But I didn’t mind the cold actually, as every day was an adventure – an opportunity to learn something new and have new experiences. Here is a bonus image for you: Me overlooking Kirkenes on a sunny day in Spring.
Have a great day!
