Styrsö
Styrsö is top of team inredningsvis’ list of favourite islands in Göteborg’s archepaelago. The island is 20 – 30 minutes from the mainland, depending upon which boat you take. Beautiful turn of last century villas can be found all over Styrsö. The island has beaches, rocky areas, a lookout point, woods and more. There are two supermarkets on Styrsö which are open 7 days a week – they’re slightly more expensive than shops on the mainland, but that’s to be expected out in the islands. Together with her two cats, Maria has previously spent an whole week living at Styrsö. Right now we’re planning a night at Styrsö Skäret Hotel. We’re also on the hunt for a Summer house to rent at Styrsö this Summer, and we look forward to spending several weeks at this nice and calm gem out in Gothenburg’s southern archepaelago.
