In Autumn, the classic Swedish “light and clean” feeling seems far away. The colours we see instead are beige, grey, muffled and lightly scorched shades. The natural trend continues this season. HM Home have really taken this theme to heart, where we see animal patterns and all the right Autumn shades.
Ethnic inspired patterns are in this season, as well as genuine hand craft. Hot Autumn shades such as lilac and mustard-yellow are hot with materials such as stone, dark wood and leather. Last year’s hot fur trend is back this season and warms cold Winter feet.
Autumn trends 2012 are either natural, cosy and earthy, or dark, drab and boring. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder – thank goodness :)
